About Mikhaela

I've been studying piano since I was 4, and am currently studying my CTMusA (Certificate Teacher of Music Australia). I enjoy teaching and getting to know my students. I've been taught by various qualified teachers over the years, and have adopted and learned many different teaching styles, that I will use to tailor lessons to the students' needs. While structured, the atmosphere of the lesson will always be focused on guiding the student to view and approach the piano positively.

About the lesson

I've primarily taught younger students (I'm young myself!), using a mix of AMEB repertoire and technical work, as well as Faber and other literature to aid the student, depending on where they are at on their music journey. Whether the student is a beginner who needs shorter lessons and an introduction to rhythm/aural/visual/motor skills, or a student that is more advanced and needs a longer focus on applicable feedback to their playing and theory, my aim is to make the piano learning process fun and adaptive to the students' needs and goals.
