About Claudia

I have a BA in French Studies (from a university based in Paris) and then went on to do a number of actor training courses at drama schools, both in the UK and abroad. I also have a Diploma from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London.

I have tutored foreign students in the past and thoroughly enjoyed helping them to gain confidence with their conversational English. And I'm very keen to help you do the same!

About the lesson

I offer fun, varied, non-stressful English conversation via Zoom or face to face in central London. I think the best way to learn a language is by speaking it. I can of course help with grammar along the way!

I am passionate about languages and speaking well, and aim to help students express themselves politely and articulately. Have helped children and adults in the past, across a range of English levels.

I know from my experience as a tutor that speaking another language can be stressful and demanding, so a fun, kind, relaxed approach works best. Learning a second language is testing at times but you mustn't give up.

I thought this quote from Confucius is rather fitting to end on -

"It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop."
