About Mica
I am a new graduate, currently working in the care system, helping to provide care for people in their homes. I enjoy helping people learn and expand their knowledge base. I enjoy helping people progress their abilities, through learning new individualised techniques, skills, and knowledge. I enjoy developing a rapport with prospective students, and helping them to develop necessary skills and knowledge, not only to progress their academic future, but to help them develop transferable skills for lifestyle and career development.

Has placement experience in respiratory, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, Cardiothoracic ICU, neurology, Stroke Rehabilitation, Diabetes and Endocrinology, COVID exposure, and Orthopaedic Trauma. Previous tutoring experience with children with learning disabilities (11-16 y/o), GCSE tutoring (chemistry and maths) with children with dyslexia and dyscalculia, and supported peers through peer assessment and tutoring throughout university. Working with people with learning disabilities and Special Educational Needs has allowed me to develop a variety of teaching methods to help students who may not understand or find typical teaching methods useful. Mentoring and tutoring sessions can be provided at a KS2 and KS3 level.
