About Kurtis
I am a music educator and professional musician in Hong Kong. I graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in music and recently finished a master's degree in music at Berklee College of Music (Valencia Campus). I love different styles of music such as pop, rock, jazz, Latin. I am also a finalist of Thailand International Jazz Conference Composition Competition 2021 and semi-finalist of 5th International Jarek Śmietana Jazz Guitar Competition 2023

Hi! This is Kurtis. I enjoy teaching as much as performing, and I have experience teaching people of different ages and nationalities. I value the musical growth of my students more, such as having a deeper understanding of music theory, nurturing an interest or passion in music and most importantly using music as a creative way to express themselves. I have seen my students showing tremendous improvement in just a few months of lessons and that is the most satisfying part of my teaching jobs.
