About Melissa

I am a Cardiff University Maths Graduate with a 2:1, having gotten a high 2:1 in my placement module teaching maths at secondary school I found it is something I really enjoy and I feel experienced in tutoring after having tutored for 4 years.

About the lesson

I have tutored a wide range of levels, including further maths, GCSE, GCSE further maths, UKMT and olympiad. Lessons can be structured to your liking but I have found that using the first 15 minutes to recap the previous lesson before teaching the topic of that lesson is an efficient way to learn. I have a lot of experience in both face to face and online, as I started tutoring face to face and then kept tutoring whilst at university online. With online I have found that Goodnotes is the best way to connect.
