About Aether
I am Aether, an archaeology student born in Sweden and studying in the UK. I struggled a lot during my earlier years in education and was set apart from my peers, who all seemed to work with the classroom style of teaching perfectly. However I have now grown my confidence and skillset through extensive study, and have learnt what methods work best and for which types of people. I am excited to show all prospective students that their skills are just as good as their peers, and teach them the best methods of study that are personalised for them to develop. I want to assure all students that at no point will I ever judge you for mistakes or differences in skills, all students are different and that is what makes learning wonderful.

I tutor in a hybrid style of learning, which includes a mix of both lecturing and activity style teaching. This changes based on what the student responds best to and the lesson will centre around their needs. I work extensively on essay structuring which can be a very difficult thing to master for humanities exams. Typical lesson length will be between 40-80 minutes depending on the student's requirements. I have 2 years' experience in tutoring and have been focused on finding study methods that work for over 7 years. I am qualified in history, classical studies, and humanities at a mix of A-Level and GCSE. My lessons are for anyone studying history at GCSE and A-Level, however GCSE students may find my tutoring style more useful as I can focus on how to structure an essay, which is often a new concept for students at this level.
