About Malia
Hello all!
My name is Malia and I am a private tutor specializing in K-12 English and math as well as test prep (ACT and SAT).
A little more about me:
I am a recent graduate from Columbia University, where I received my B.A. in Psychology and graduated magna cum laude with a 4.0 GPA. I have 3 years of experience in private SAT and ACT tutoring and am extremely familiar with the test prep "game"-- I have helped students of varying abilities raise their scores by over 200 points. I have also worked in a K-12 school, where I taught English and math to students with learning disabilitites, so I am comofortable helping students of all levels! Finally, I currently work as a part-time teacher at GPS Academy, where I teach intensive SAT, ACT, and AP courses.
