About William

I studied Bible and Ministry at Harding University, taking classes from subject ranging from Biblical Studies, Theological Studies, Biblical Languages (Ancient Greek, Ancient Hebrew), Church History, Historical Theology, Preaching, Critical Issues and Biblical Criticism, and Ministry Classes. I graduated in 2019, and I have been working on my Master's in Systematic Theology at Harding School of Theology, which I will obtain at the end of this current Fall semester 2023. While studying for my Master's, I have taken classes in graduate level courses in Biblical Studies, Theological Studies, and Ethics and Philosophy. I am also an aspiring Phd candidate, which I intend to pursue in 2025. I have studied Theology and Biblical Studies intensely for the past seven years, both at the collegiate and graduate level. I have also worked as a Graduate Assistant and have experience both teaching college level classes and tutoring students in the above mentioned subjects.

About the lesson

I offer both 1-on-1 tutoring as well as group tutoring, and am open to also hosting webinars. I believe in teaching students how to learn, not mere remote memorization. I teach for knowledge, not to merely pass a test. I am very passionate about my areas of expertise, and am looking forward to sharing this love with anyone willing to learn. As long as the student is willing to work, and is open to challenging themselves and learning as much as they can, I am willing to do all that I can, regardless of education or skill level of the student. My lessons are primarily intended for High School-College level students. However, if a younger student shows advanced understanding and maturity, I am willing to consider lower-grade students. I am also willing to take on adult learners who simply want to learn more for their own personal educational interests. A typical lesson plan will consist of reviewing any reading or homework student may have been assigned, this will mostly be discussion. My ideal lesson format will be held like a formal academic conversation. I will give instruction and small lectures when I feel it necessary, but for the most part I want the student and I to enter into a dialogue, as I feel this will help the student not merely know the information, but learn and be able to think critically about the content.
