About Jonathan

I have spent 5 years working in a out-patient testing lab and an additional 2 years supervising the same lab. I have taught and trained many newly graduated students who struggled with daily tasks due to a lack of fundamental understanding of simple biological concepts.

A major challenge in teaching these students was the additional stress of facing termination due to their initial performance. Finding ways to simplify topics they struggled with was key to properly disseminate key concepts.

About the lesson

I cover HS biology topics and AP Biology as well. When most people struggle with biology it is due to a weak understanding of the fundamentals of biology. Understanding various chemical properties helps creating a foundation to deeper learning. Starting with a strong foundation, biology can be a fun and rewarding topic to explore!
