About Lídia

Hi, my name is Lídia and I am passionate about languages and learning!

I am excited to hear about your goals with French and we will tailor our classes to them. My goal is to build up your confidence in French and encourage you to practise as much as possible.

If your goal is to pass a French exam, I have recently passed various French exams at different levels and have loads of tips to share with you. I studied French throughout my school years and graduated the IB French Language at Higher Level with a maximum grade of 7/7. I know practice is key to achieving success so my focus is more active and exercise-based.

If you simply want to learn French, or you are new to the language. We will focus on speaking and listening as from my experience it is the best way to learn French quicker and pick up on the tricky French accent!

About the lesson

As a multilingual of 5 languages, learning and teaching languages is what I’m all about! I lived and did my schooling in Geneva, Switzerland for more than 6 years. Hence, French is one of my mother tongue languages.

My experience as a tutor and as an assistant mentor to children and young adults with learning differences (Down Syndrome/Autism) has developed my patience and ability to develop and tailor my approach to every student.

As a university experience I know the importance of adapting to one’s learning style. The importance of keeping learning dynamic, simple and engaging cannot be overstated!

I teach French from entry level to more advanced students. I offer support with homework and exam prep such as GCSE/IGCSE Foreign French exam or the French Language IB exam (not exclusively).
