About Stephanie
I am a graduate of the University of Manchester, where I earned my BA (Hons) in Drama followed by acting studies at East 15. Additionally, I have worked as an Advanced Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school for over 3 years, where I gained comprehensive experience working with students of varying special educational needs. This experience has equipped me with the skills to work flexibly with students of all abilities, ensuring that each lesson is tailored to individual needs. I grew up in a bilingual household, with a Peruvian heritage, which means I speak fluent Latin American Spanish as well as English. Having moved around a lot when I was younger, and having to adapt to new languages and environments means I can definitely empathise with children who are in similar positions. Therefore, I am also passionate about helping those who are trying to learn with English as a foreign language. My unique cultural and linguistic background, combined with my academic studies and experience working with students with a range of learning needs allows me to offer effective lessons that meet the needs of individual students both at KS3 and GCSE level. With all of my experience so far working in education, I am passionate about helping my students succeed. I have a flexible pricing structure and offer bespoke packages that suit your specific goals and needs.

I am a hard-working and engaging tutor who always strives to ensure my lessons are fun! I will always start at a level you are comfortable at and together we would work gradually to attain the goals you would like to work towards. I will always aim to go at your pace whilst implementing some challenges along the way that will help you get towards those desired grades! I work from my online classroom and use a variety of resources and mediums to make the lessons accessible and engaging. Lessons are up to an hour long but can be flexible in arranging shorter 30-minute slots for those who learn better in shorter blocks of time. Although I have more experience teaching KS3, I am happy to support with revision for GCSE students as I still have a breadth of experience in this through my support work
