About Alex
My background in tutoring has been through teaching peers and undergrads in Anatomy I to Abnormal Psychology.
Although I have used numerous tutoring services with other subjects during high school and college so I understand the frustrations that comes with days spent on trying to understand one chapter or theorem in Calculus and the tutors just rehash the same lesson instead of shifting the style their teach to the student since every person learns information differently.
My educational background has been in Electrical Engineering, Pre-med and currently Mental Health Counseling which has given me opportunities where understanding the different styles of learning and applying those to my education had aided in my graduation and further educational journey.
My goal of the tutoring sessions is to understand your learning style, and how to connect the material in a method that works for you not the other way around.

-Methods of teaching and techniques differ based on the student's type of learning since these subjects are quite difficult it's important to ensure they're able to apply the techniques I use in other areas of learning outside of my lessons.
-A normal lesson session will involve a quick review of previous lessons, then a deep dive into the student's current material, what concerns, struggles, or difficulties they have with the subject, and finally a closing review with additional techniques for the students to use on their own time to reinforce the material.
-I offer specialized forms of tutoring meant for students in beginner level High school courses to Undergraduate level coursework.
