About Isha
Hi! My name is Isha and I graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I majored in Speech and Hearing Sciences. My goal as a tutor is to inspire students and gain confidence that they are capable of doing anything. I will be competent, reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and respectful to all students who wish to improve their mathematics skills. I welcome any student who has a disability. (I, myself, have a disability).
I am a total dog lover, and am interested in working with children! I love to knit and watch TV!

My lessons are focused on helping elementary students through high school students learn and improve their mathematics skills. The lessons will be carried out through meaningful and fun activities to engage the students in improving their knowledge they learn in school such as knowing about arithmetic, algebra, and pre calculus.In each session, the student will tell me their goal, and I will teach them the concepts through visual learning and other techniques.At the end of each lesson, the student should be able to recall what they learned and use that knowledge to continue strengthening their math skills.
Additionally, I will teach and inform high school students about college and how to prepare for it.
