About Shabnam

Hi, I’m Shabnam. I love helping students feel more confident in maths, even if it’s something they’ve struggled with. My lessons are supportive, flexible, and shaped around what works best for you. I’ve worked with learners from many different backgrounds, and I always aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and encouraged.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed around your specific goals — whether that’s preparing for GCSE, National 5, Highers, A-Level, or SAT exams, filling in gaps from class, or building overall confidence in maths. I adapt my teaching to suit your learning style and pace, using clear explanations, visual methods, exam-style questions, and plenty of practice. I often work with past papers and focus on helping you understand the why behind each step, not just memorising formulas.
