I provide friendly, patient and personalised maths tutoring for students up to Year 7. My aim is to make maths easy to understand and help students build confidence in their abilities.
My teaching approach:
I explain each concept step-by-step using simple examples and encourage students to work through problems themselves. I focus on understanding the basics rather than simply memorising formulas. I also identify areas where students need extra support and provide additional practice to strengthen their skills.
Lesson length:
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with the flexibility to adjust the duration depending on the student's age, needs and attention span.
Qualifications and experience:
I am a graduate with a strong interest in mathematics and enjoy helping younger students understand mathematical concepts. I am patient, approachable and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment.
Who my lessons are for:
I tutor students from primary school through Year 7, covering areas such as arithmetic, basic algebra, fractions, decimals, percentages, problem-solving and general maths skills.
My goal is to help every student improve their understanding, confidence and ability to solve maths problems independently.
