About Precious

In terms of my professional experience, I have one year of experience teaching children and another year teaching adults. During this time, I have taught English to more than 100 children, helping them improve their understanding of the language and perform better academically. The majority of the students I taught achieved good grades after taking my lessons, which gives me great satisfaction as a teacher.

I also gained valuable teaching experience during my NYSC service year, where I spent the entire one-year period teaching in a government-assigned school. This experience strengthened my communication, classroom management, and lesson-planning skills, while also teaching me how to adapt my approach to meet the different learning needs and abilities of my students.

These experiences have helped me develop patience, confidence, and a strong commitment to helping learners understand and enjoy English.

About the lesson

English has always been my best subject right from childhood. Throughout my school years, I never failed English. I genuinely enjoy reading in English, exploring new words, and researching how to correctly pronounce words that I come across for the first time. My love for the language has continued to grow over the years.

Secondly, I have a strong passion for teaching. It gives me great joy to see my students become happy and confident when they finally understand a topic they have been struggling with. I believe that every student has a unique way of learning, which is why I always take the time to understand my students first. Once I understand their learning style and needs, I can choose the right approach to explain concepts in a simple and understandable way.

For me, teaching is not just about passing information across; it is about making sure the student truly understands, feels comfortable asking questions, and gains the confidence to learn independently.
