About Maryam

I studied English language education and I have been in the classroom as an English teacher right from my days as a teaching intern up till now. I have taught students mostly at the junior secondary level but I have also coached senior secondary students in preparation for their school leaving examinations. I adopt a teacher-learner centered approach in my instructional processes and it has yielded positive results so far. I am not only experienced in physical classroom teaching, I've also had to deliver lessons virtually. I look forward to having you on the train for educating and linguistically exciting sessions.

About the lesson

In a language classroom, linguistic competence is never enough, students should as well be able to develop a great deal of communicative competence and that is why my approach to teaching is geared towards the communicative approach . Also, learning should interactive and not just focused on the teacher only and that is why I have decided to make my classes teacher-learner centered.
