About Seth
I have been an English student my whole life. I am just now learning Spanish and I see the difficulties learning a new language. I’ve learned some strategies that’ll help you achieve your goals faster. I will tell you, it’s going to take hard work and dedication. Lessons will be 1 hour. I do in person, plus online. To start off I will test you on your reading/writing/speaking level. If you want to just focus on one, I can be flexible and focus on that one subject you need help on most. The goal is to be better at all 3 though. Reading: We will read books together and work on pronunciation. Writing: Focus on spelling words correctly / Forming correct thoughts that convey proper sentences / Learning difficult words for non-natives and when to use them Speaking: Everybody can become better at speaking… I am learning Spanish, so I know how difficult it can be. 1. To speak one must listen intently. 2. You must actually practice speaking (even if it’s not good) We will practice pronunciation and putting sentences together.

Seth is a great tactician and great at explaining the essential principles of chess. I would recommend him to any beginning or intermediate player. I currently play in the 1500s and quickly have made progress under his guidance after being stuck in the 1200-1300s for years. Thank you Seth!
Seth is a great chess teacher because he thinks critically not just in chess, but in life. Seth is very personable and he quickly identifies how to communicate differently with each student according to their individual needs. For me, Seth is not just a chess tutor, but a great friend. Highly recommend!
