About Living
As a tutor, my goal is to make learning feel less like a chore and more like a tool you can actually use. I try to steer clear of dry lectures or endless memorization. Instead, I like to talk things through with my students. I’ll guide you with targeted questions, breaking big, scary concepts into bite-sized pieces until you hit that satisfying moment on your own. A huge part of how I teach comes down to keeping things living and practical. Academic theory can feel totally disconnected from the real world, so I always connect what we’re studying to real life situations, daily decisions, or practical industry examples.

When you see how a concept actually works in the wild, it just clicks.
A typical hour long session is structured, but pretty relaxed. We’ll usually spend the first five or ten minutes catching up and doing a quick warm-up problem from last time to make sure the foundation is solid. Then, we dive into the new stuff. I’ll break down the core ideas, walk through a couple of examples, and show you where this actually pops up in real life. After that, you take the wheel. You'll work through a few tailored problems while I coach you in real time, helping you tune your thinking as you go. I always wrap up with a quick recap so you leave knowing exactly what you mastered and what to focus on next.
