About Eros

Hi! I'm a 20-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer from Brazil. I grew up being obsessively in love with music. My earliest memories as a kid include singing and performing for my family in the living room at our weekend gatherings. At age 12, I started writing my own songs, which led me to learn the guitar. My passion with songwriting and instruments only grew, as I also took on the piano as an instrument at age 15.

Now I am an LA-based independent artist, writing, producing, and performing original songs of mine, as well as other musicians'.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is of keeping the lesson interesting and engaging to the student. I do that by getting them to first learn how to play a song that they can recognize and like, so they get excited about the fact that they're actually playing something. Depending on their age I let them choose the song, and then transpose it and adapt it so that it is at the easiest possible way for them to play (with easier chords and transitions). After I notice their evolution, I like to challenge them by implementing slightly harder chords and faster transitions on the same song (if possible) or by picking a slightly harder one. The lessons are built around what I observe the student is struggling with, that becoming the target of the lessons.

My lesson plans vary depending on the student's level, age, goals, and necessities.

I grew up being obsessed with music and I believe there has to be love and room for self-expression and individuality. As teachers, we have to analyze our student's needs, personalities, and goals. Helping them to reach the best version of themselves.

My lessons are for beginners who want to learn how to play piano, guitar, or songwriting. No matter what age.
