About Jai
I graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from a university in London. I am currently studying Medicine and will soon be starting my third year.
I have always had a passion for reading and writing, which has strengthened my communication skills and my love of the English language. Alongside my studies, I am currently working on publishing my research thesis, which has further developed my academic writing and critical thinking skills.
As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. Whether you're looking to improve your English for school, work, exams, or everyday communication, I will tailor each lesson to your individual needs and help you achieve your goals with patience, encouragement, and clear guidance.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each individual's goals, learning style, and pace. My teaching approach is interactive, supportive, and focused on building confidence. My lessons are student-centred and designed to develop all key English language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. A standard lesson lasts 60 minutes, although shorter (30–45 minutes) or longer (90 minutes) sessions can be arranged depending on the student's needs and preferences. I have experience helping students improve their English for school, exams, work, travel, and everyday communication. I focus on creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as this is an essential part of the learning process.
My lessons are suitable for:
Children and teenagers who need support with school English.
University students looking to improve their academic English.
Adults wanting to develop conversational English or workplace communication skills. Students preparing for English proficiency exams or interviews.
