About Jenna
Hi, I’m Jenna. A 21 year old University Design Student who has a passion for teaching and interacting with youth and a mind equipped for math. I was trained to tutor during my gap year of 2020 after I graduated from High School in Paarl (South Africa) in 2019.
Math has always come naturally, and with my visual brain I have a unique way of understanding each topic in math and have become equipped to help students better understand the numbers that lie in font of them. I am a people’s person with a big heart, which overflows into my tutoring lessons as I want to know that not only are my students thriving and feeling comfortable in not only my subject but in school in general. I love to laugh and tackle challenges head on with creative ways of thinking.

During my lessons I make sure to get to know each student and their own unique learning style, I do this by interacting with them in quick math games, complete homework with the student, and identify their areas of strengths and weaknesses in the subject. This helps me target their struggles in math to ensure that the student is able to understand what they are learning and complete questions with full confidence.

R180/hour for Online and in Person lessons. In Person Lessons require and additional R40/lesson fee for travel expenses. An increased rate of R220/hour for any lessons after hours - for example on Public Holidays, before 3pm or after 7pm, weekends, etc.
