About Linda

I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it with confidence. As someone who has learned foreign languages myself, I understand the challenges of speaking a new language. I focus on building confidence first, creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Apart from learning language, I always enjoy working in a multicultural environment and helping my friends and people who wanna learn Mandarin from zero.

I have over five years of leadership experience with Toastmasters International, where I developed strong communication and coaching skills. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant at university for two years, helping students understand complex concepts in a clear and engaging way. In addition, I have helped many local Australian friends improve their Mandarin pronunciation and conversational skills for travel and everyday communication.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to intermediate learners. I especially enjoy helping students learn practical Mandarin that they can confidently use in real-life situations.
