About Duncan
I have been a performer and teacher for the last 25 years. As a performer I have released 6 albums, played on many more, and opened for the likes of James Brown, Parliament Funkadelic, Fishbone, G-Love & Special Sauce and numerous others. As a teacher I have taught privately and at the same performing arts high school that I attended. My goal is to provide a strong musical foundation for students and use their interests and goals as the guiding light for our lessons.

We will cover the basics and fundamentals but instruction will be based off of songs you want to learn. Working out of a method book is not a prerequisite but if preferred we can do that too! I teach beginner, intermediate and advanced students of all ages in the genres of rock, pop, funk, soul and jazz.
