About Ed

I’m a qualified music teacher and working musician offering lessons in guitar, bass, and songwriting for students of all levels.

I hold a Bachelor of Music / Bachelor of Education from UNSW, and I’ve been teaching in high schools for over 5 years. In that time, I’ve worked with a wide range of students, from complete beginners to those preparing for their HSC Music exams.

Alongside teaching, I’ve also toured nationally and internationally, which means I bring real industry experience into my lessons, not just theory, but how music actually works in the real world.

I’m passionate about helping students find their own musical voice, whether that’s learning their favorite songs, improving technique, or writing original music. I aim to make lessons engaging, practical, and tailored to each student, so you can build confidence and see real progress.

I also offer HSC tuition, with support across performance, composition, and listening tasks.

Hi, I’m a passionate music teacher offering lessons in songwriting, guitar, and bass for students of all levels.

I hold a Bachelor of Music / Bachelor of Education from UNSW, and I’ve been teaching in high schools for over 5 years, working with students across a wide range of abilities and musical interests. Alongside teaching, I’ve also toured both nationally and internationally, giving me real-world industry experience that I bring into every lesson.

Whether you want to learn Bach on the bass guitar, work on Jazz improvisation, write a punk song, or work on HSC Aural Exam Responses, I can help.

I focus on making lessons engaging, practical, and relevant, while still building strong musical foundations.
