About Zia
My interest in guitar began through listening to live acoustic performances and experimenting with melodies during my teenage years. This passion encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Guitar Practice, where I studied performance, improvisation, and modern music techniques deeply. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students from different musical backgrounds while helping them improve technical ability and artistic confidence through supportive music education.
I believe music learning should feel creative, motivating, and accessible for every learner regardless of experience level. My teaching style focuses on practical playing, patient guidance, and expressive exploration that allow students to improve naturally while building strong musical foundations. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and experiment creatively because confidence develops best through active participation and consistent musical practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy songwriting, recording acoustic sessions, and exploring different genres including blues, folk, and contemporary music. Staying connected to music creatively helps me bring fresh inspiration and artistic energy into lessons regularly. Teaching guitar is deeply rewarding because I enjoy helping students discover confidence and individuality through music. My goal is always to support learners in becoming expressive, skilled, and passionate musicians.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students enjoy music while developing strong technical foundations and creative confidence through practical learning. I teach chord transitions, rhythm control, fingerstyle playing, strumming patterns, improvisation, and melodic phrasing in a supportive environment where learners can improve comfortably at their own pace. Students learn how technical exercises connect naturally with creativity and musical expression through guided practice. Every lesson encourages patience, curiosity, and consistent growth.
Lessons are adapted carefully according to each student’s level and musical interests. Beginners focus on hand positioning, rhythm exercises, simple chord progressions, and melody playing, while advanced learners work on solo phrasing, advanced finger techniques, improvisation, and live performance preparation. I include ear training, guided repetition, and play-along activities regularly because active participation strengthens understanding and confidence effectively. Students receive supportive feedback that helps them improve naturally without unnecessary pressure or discouragement.
I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable exploring music creatively while building discipline and confidence. Many learners begin with uncertainty about technique or performance situations, so I focus on gradual progress through encouragement and achievable goals. Over time, students improve timing, coordination, and musical expression naturally. Guitar becomes much more meaningful when learners discover their own sound and build a strong personal connection with music.
