About Minerva
Sometimes I find that reading sheet music feels like learning a second language for many of my students. Working with 357 pupils has taught me how to break down complex concepts like scales and modes or ear training into manageable parts. My 13 years of playing and teaching mean I have seen every common hurdle regarding chord transitions or power chords. I currently help many students navigate the intricacies of improvisation and soloing while keeping the sessions grounded in practical application.

"You should expect a curriculum that builds your technical facility from the ground up, as my 13 years of experience with Trinity College London informs every chord transition we practice. Because I hold an Artist Diploma, I bring a formal understanding of music theory to every guitar session. I provide a monthly recorded review of progress for my students so they can track their development over time. This 7.0 rated structure ensures that you understand exactly what to practice between our meetings to achieve your technical goals.
We will spend our time drilling transitions and improvisation until the techniques feel like second nature under your fingers. I want to make sure your musical foundations are solid enough to support whatever style of playing you prefer."
