About Stephanie
Learning the guitar involves a mix of physical coordination and music theory. You start by identifying the exact skills you need to reach your goals. We cover power chords and barre chords alongside proper acoustic technique. Reading sheet music is essential for my grade exam prep students.

Having performed as a classical vocalist for 7 years, I eventually moved into guitar instruction as well. My MMus Voice degree from Guildhall helps me understand the mechanics of sound, which I apply to my 194 students.
I have developed a clear pedagogical style over 13 years. I help people bridge the gap between being an absolute beginner and an advanced learner. My focus remains on steady improvement for all my students. It has been a long road of teaching.
