About Vela

I hold a Master’s degree in Guitar Performance and have 9 years of experience teaching guitar to students of different ages and skill levels. My journey with the guitar started with a strong interest in music, which gradually developed into a passion for both playing and teaching. I believe that every student can learn guitar with the right guidance, patience, and consistent effort. My teaching style focuses on clarity, encouragement, and building confidence step by step.

I adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s needs and learning pace. Beginners are guided carefully to build a strong foundation, while intermediate learners are supported in improving their technique and exploring new styles. Advanced students focus on performance skills and advanced techniques. I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and improving regularly.

Outside of teaching, I continue to play, explore different genres, and improve my own skills. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging for students. Helping learners grow in confidence and enjoy their musical journey is one of the most rewarding parts of my work as a teacher.

About the lesson

My guitar lessons are designed to help students build strong technical skills while also encouraging creativity and musical understanding. I focus on chord transitions, strumming patterns, rhythm accuracy, fingerstyle techniques, scales, and basic improvisation so that students can play with confidence and clarity. Lessons include structured exercises, song learning, and guided practice that help students improve step by step. I create a relaxed and supportive environment where learners feel comfortable experimenting, asking questions, and improving without pressure.

Lessons are carefully planned based on each student’s level and personal goals. Beginners start with simple chords, basic strumming, and easy songs to build coordination and confidence. Intermediate learners work on improving rhythm control, fingerstyle playing, and exploring scales and improvisation. Advanced students focus on complex techniques, solo playing, tone shaping, and performance skills. Each lesson includes guided exercises, structured practice, and detailed feedback to ensure steady and clear progress over time.

The goal of my guitar lessons is to help students become confident, expressive, and independent musicians. They learn how to understand music, improve their playing, and enjoy the process of learning. Lessons are balanced between technical development and creativity, helping students stay motivated while building strong musical skills that last for a long time.
