About Savannah
Music instruction is rarely about the notes themselves and mostly about the silent moments between them. I began teaching 13 years ago after completing a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance at the Manhattan School of Music.
It was never my intention to teach for this long, yet I found the process of unraveling complex finger patterns for others highly engaging. I work with 321 students on mastery of barre chords and acoustic technique.
My curriculum emphasizes reading sheet music to ensure a complete understanding of the fretboard. Grade exam prep is also available for those seeking formal accreditation. Helping someone finally connect with their instrument is the most enjoyable part of my career. It is truly rewarding.

First sessions involve a comprehensive assessment of your current playing position and left hand strength. You will walk away with 7 free chord charts and tab sheets to guide your practice until our next meeting. My experience over 13 years allows me to spot technical errors before they become permanent habits. I offer these resources to help beginners and intermediates navigate the neck of the guitar with confidence.
