About Louis
I have been playing the guitar for almost twenty years, much of that on acoustic and electric guitar, and nowadays mainly classical. I am currently studying classical guitar at the AMPA Conservatory in Tilburg. Before this, I studied Music Therapy. I have a passion for teaching guitar and music. I am very patient, and seeing progress in yourself is almost as rewarding as seeing it in someone else!

*Preferably, the lessons will take place in a classroom at the AMPA Conservatory.
My lessons will mainly be based on what the student wants and is able to do. For a beginner, I am happy to teach the essential techniques, though which techniques these are also depends on the genre the student is interested in. I will suggest songs and pieces of varying levels of difficulty, and within a short period of time I will also teach the student a new piece. This makes taking lessons rewarding, as you can quickly reap the benefits of exercises, technique, and musical knowledge. Do you already play guitar? Then I am very interested in what you play and what you would like to play. We can expand your repertoire or work on existing material, and plan guitar duos or group/ensemble lessons.*

Excellent! Een eerste les die verkennend was. Louis observeert goed. Geeft mij vooral aanwijzingen m.b.t. houding en techniek. Daar wil ik ook het liefst in ondersteund worden. Hij is geduldig, responsief.
