Before we build a lesson plan, I conduct a thorough diagnostic skills check to identify exactly where your technique needs refinement. We will analyze how you grip the neck to ensure your power chords and barre chords resonate clearly through the body of the guitar. My 13 years of experience allow me to demonstrate how complex modes can be broken down into simple, logical movements.
You will practice ear training exercises designed to help you hear the difference between subtle intervals. We will also cover tuning and maintenance to ensure your instrument is always ready for a performance.

Working alongside adults who seek to refine their craft is a privilege that keeps my own creative spirit grounded. I have guided 120 students through the nuances of flamenco and the rhythmic complexities of Argentine folk music.
These 13 years of experience have taught me that music is a conversation between the player and the instrument. My identity as a native Spanish speaker often weaves into our technical discussions. I prefer to maintain a tradition-rooted approach that honors the history of the guitar. It simply feels right.
