About Matthew
I have always been passionate about guitars and I started playing as soon as I could get my hands on one!
I was having lessons at school, but like many kids, was being taught classical guitar with the interest of achieving grades and qualifications. However, the music i was listening to was mostly rock and punk. I wanted to be a rock star and learn to play like my heroes. Not take more exams!
I stuck at it however and have since enjoyed many years of playing in bands, in my bedroom and on stages all over the country.
I now want to share my experience with as many people as possible. So they too can enjoy playing guitar for many years to come!

Hello,
My name is Matt. I've been playing guitar for over 15 years now and have been teaching for the last 2. I have seen first hand how many people want to learn guitar, but unfortunately give up after a very short space of time.
This is often because people become overwhelmed by all the information available on the internet, or take guitar lessons but end up playing songs that they have no interest in.
I am passionate about giving you the advice and skills you need so you can achieve your own personal goals, and most importantly, enjoy playing your guitar!
Happy teaching anybody who is committed to improving and willing to practice their instrument.
Lessons are for either 30mins or 1 hour.
Can be given online, or in person.
