About Danica
Do you ever wonder why your rig sounds like thin plastic instead of thick vintage warmth? Teaching allows me to share the reality of playing in 3 bands and releasing 5 records while keeping the focus on actual tone. My BFA in Popular Music from USC Thornton School of Music informs how I break down complex theory into usable shapes.
I have logged 13 years of time playing in clubs and touring across the Boston area. My work focuses on students who want to bridge the gap between hobbyist playing and a real studio sound. Catch me at the workbench if you need help finding your signature signal chain.

Actually struggling with buzzing strings often comes down to simple bridge height or nut slot issues. Having a degree from USC Thornton School of Music helps me diagnose these mechanical gremlins quickly.
We fix your setup before we ever look at the fretboard because tone matters as much as technique. Instruction covers tuning and maintenance alongside electric technique and acoustic technique basics. Barre chords and power chords get broken down into physical movements rather than abstract concepts. I also guide you through ear training and reading sheet music to sharpen your internal musical radar.
My 13 years of experience in touring bands means I prioritize 7.0 standards for every single connection and cable. Expect a focus on practicality that keeps the music moving forward.
