About Shan
I am currently a senior at Whittier College majoring in biochemistry with a minor in mathematics. I have a good GPA, and have been tutoring students of all ages for the past four years. I have worked on various research projects, and am currently working in Quantum Mechanics and nanoparticle research.

My teaching approach varies depending on the student and the learning style a student has. Rather than working on things that a student is already strong in, I like to narrow in on the trouble areas, give some small drawn-out explanations, and to answer questions in a way that anyone can understand.

First lesson is free, as I just want to get to know my students and get a general idea of how they learn, what material they want help on, and to develop a studying plan for them.
