About Mahathi

As a music tutor, I bring patience, passion, and professionalism to every lesson. I have a strong background in music and understand how to help students improve their skills while building confidence. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can grow technically, express themselves creatively, and truly enjoy learning music.

About the lesson

You should choose me as a music teacher because I do not just teach notes, rhythm, and technique. I help students feel music. A great music teacher is someone who understands that music is not only about getting the right answer, but about building confidence, discipline, creativity, and emotion. I would bring all of that into my teaching.
What makes me especially strong is that music is deeply personal to me. I know what it feels like to struggle with learning something difficult, repeat it again and again, and finally turn it into something beautiful. Because of that, I would be patient with students instead of making them feel scared of mistakes. I would create an environment where students feel encouraged to keep trying, because real growth in music comes from persistence and belief in yourself.
I would also make music meaningful, not boring. Instead of teaching mechanically, I would help students understand the emotion, story, and purpose behind what they sing or play. That makes students connect more deeply with music and remember it better. When students understand why a piece matters, they perform with more expression and confidence.
Another reason I would be a strong music teacher is that I value both discipline and creativity. Good musicians need structure, but they also need space to explore their own voice. I would teach students strong fundamentals while also inspiring them to express themselves. That balance helps students improve technically while still enjoying the process.
Most importantly, I would truly care about my students. The best teachers are the ones who make students believe in themselves. I would want every student to leave my class not only as a better musician, but also as a more confident person. Music has the power to heal, connect, and inspire, and I would want my students to experience that fully.
