About Kathleen
I began peer tutoring in the eighth grade when I needed volunteer hours and that lit spark that has been going for nearly 25 years. When I was in college, I ran our tutoring center and was the math specialist there while gaining my undergrad and my teaching credential. I then started my own tutoring company in my town and have helped thousands of students graduate high school and succeed in their college math classes.and then went on to get my Masters in Math with a focus in education in which I learned even more ways to better help my students. Now I’m a full-time teacher and tutor, and nothing brings me more joy than working with students to help them gain the confidence that they need in math..

I believe that there are many different ways to solve a problem and do not force students to do it my way. I will demonstrate all of the different ways that I know and let you pick what way makes the most sense to you. I am able to explain things different ways until it clicks for you. I am calm and patient will increase your confidence in any math class. I cannot wait to work with you!
