About Dan

I was first inspired to learn organic chemistry through my interest in medicinal plants as a young person. My interest expanded to include synthetic methods of natural products. Organic chemistry can be one of the most difficult subjects to learn but in that way can also be very rewarding. Most all organic chemistry builds off previous knowledge of the subject so the more you learn the easier it gets. I'm interested in helping you.

About the lesson

I start with the basics and background of whatever concepts we are working on and build off that. I like to give practice problems of increasing difficulty and am open to helping with homework. I strive to teach in a way that equips you with the knowledge you need to solve any problem. Most of my experience is in teaching college level organic chemistry. I have experience teaching to large groups as well as individuals.
