About Jackie

Hi, I’m Jackie! I’m a qualified nursery nurse with experience working with children in different settings, including nurseries and schools. I’m currently studying towards becoming a learning support assistant, as supporting children to grow in confidence and reach their potential is something I’m passionate about. I’m bubbly, caring and patient, and I love having a laugh! I believe learning should be fun, positive and never intimidating. I want every child I work with to feel comfortable being themselves, while learning at a pace that works for them.

About the lesson

My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each individual learner. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where children feel comfortable, confident and able to progress at their own pace. I have experience supporting children with autism, ADHD and behavioural or additional support needs. My focus is not only on learning, but also on building confidence, encouraging independence and celebrating every achievement, no matter how small.
