"Music lives in the ears. That is why I teach the way I do.
I earned my BM Music Performance degree from Belmont University to understand the structure behind the sound. This formal training helps me explain complex ideas to working professionals and self-taught players.
Intermediate learners and those returning to the guitar often find my oral-tradition-first approach refreshing. I emphasize listening and imitation as the primary way to understand the fretboard.
We explore improvisation, soloing, and the nuances of acoustic technique. I also cover music theory, reading tabs, and grade exam prep. Barre chords and fingerpicking become accessible through consistent practice. My studio is a space where curiosity leads the way."

"Achieving command over your instrument starts with a solid foundation in how you hear and interpret music. Ever feel like your progress has hit a wall because you lack a clear path? We will work on tuning and maintenance to ensure your gear is ready to go. I provide structure for working professionals who have limited time to practice.
