About Lyla
Precision is rarely comfortable when you are first learning the laws of physics. Mechanics and modern physics require you to let go of intuitive guesses in favor of mathematical derivations. After a decade in industry spanning quant research and scientific computing, I now dedicate my time to teaching students preparing for entrance exams.
I help you navigate kinematics, electromagnetism, and optics by focusing on the logic behind the formulas. My approach is rooted in the same principles I used to build ML engineering systems at a top hedge fund. I enjoy breaking down graph interpretation into simple components for competition prep.
You will find that my mentorship is direct and heavy on technical application. I make sure our work remains grounded in reality. My goal is to ensure you understand the underlying mechanics of every problem.

Why should physics feel like a static list of memorized equations rather than a dynamic language? We start by running mock tests with error analysis to identify your blind spots before your exams.
I draw on my background to show how these concepts appear in actual research environments. We will spend significant time on electricity, magnetism, and complex derivations. I want to see you grapple with these concepts until they become intuitive.
My lessons are designed to be challenging yet entirely accessible for those serious about their board exams. We will refine your approach to physics until you see the patterns clearly. What specific topics are currently causing you the most friction?
