About Prabhat
My name is Prabhat. I am a data engineer with production experience building analytics and data quality systems for a large financial technology company, and I am currently completing a master's degree in information systems.
Before that, I spent five years as a STEM tutor at North Lake College, where I worked with students in calculus-based physics, chemistry, and math. Most of them came in convinced they were bad at the subject. Very few of them left thinking that.
I am patient, I do not rush, and I do not make anyone feel small for asking a basic question. I have sat on both sides of the desk, and I still remember exactly which concepts felt impossible until someone explained them the right way.

I have spent five years tutoring STEM subjects at the college level, covering calculus based physics, general and physical chemistry, and math from algebra through calculus. My lessons are built around one idea: you should be able to explain the problem back to me before we finish.
A typical session starts with a quick check of where you are stuck, then we work through two or three problems together while I ask you the questions a grader would ask. I finish every lesson with a short set of practice problems chosen for the exact gap I saw that day.
What sets me apart is that I use this material in real work. I am a data and machine learning engineer, so when a student asks why any of this matters, I can show them where it shows up outside the classroom.
I work with high school students, college undergraduates, and adult learners returning to school. Whether you are trying to survive a required course or aiming for an A, we can build a plan that fits your schedule.
