About Gulsiya

With a minor in Studio Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and experience in murals, painting, and selling original artwork at markets in the Piedmont Triad of NC, I provide personalized, hands-on instruction that helps students build confidence, develop artistic skills, and explore their creativity.

About the lesson

I believe that anyone can learn to draw with a little patience, practice, and the right guidance. You don't have to be naturally talented or have any previous experience to get started. All you need is an interest in learning and a willingness to give it a try!

I enjoy working one-on-one with students, helping them build their skills at their own pace!

We'll work on everything from basic sketching and understanding shapes to shading, proportions, textures, and creating more realistic drawings. I want my students to understand the techniques behind drawing rather than simply copying what they see.

I tailor my drawing lessons to each student's skill level, interests, and goals. Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or hoping to improve your existing skills, I focus on making the learning process enjoyable, encouraging, and rewarding.
