I tutor math for arithmetic, algebra, geometry, algebra 2, trigonometry, and pre calculus. (This includes Integrated math 1, 2 and 3)
I like to see where a student is at and build them up to succeed. Not everyone struggles with the same thing for the same reason.
Most students bring their homework they’re struggling with and we’ll use that as our starting place.
No homework? No problem! Come with questions. I recommend making a list so I can make sure to cover all your concerns. You don’t have to bring an example problem we’ll draw one up together and demystify it. An example problem is useful if you find you can understand other problems of the same type but a specific one is causing issues.
Some students want to work ahead or on material beyond what they’ve already learned and for those cases I’ll build something for your goal. We’ll also discuss what is realistic eg: you can’t expect to learn an entire school year or semester of material in a single week.
