In my chalk pastel lessons, I guide students through vibrant, hands-on explorations of color, texture, and technique. We start with foundational skills—like blending, layering, and mark-making—then build toward expressive compositions inspired by nature, still life, and imagination. I create a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere where students of all levels feel empowered to take creative risks, develop their own style, and enjoy the meditative process of working with soft pastels.
