About Melissa
As I said previously I have worked in every area of mental health from private practice to mental health treatment centers and substance abuse treatment centers. I have my own personal experiences with early childhood trauma and adolescence trauma. I went into this field to try to understand my own behavior and the tendencies for the way i did certain things. I myself had to lean and choose to end the cycle of unhealthy familial structures including abuse, neglect and other struggles and such as substance abuse and lack of empathy and emotional instability. For generations my family stayed and operated the same and through personal growth and many many hours of personal therapy and my education I was able to break the cycle that was set before me. I choose differently how to love, be married and most importantly be the kind of mother I wanted to be. And to add the kind of human I was proud of. But you can’t change the cycle until you learn another way. That’s my hope for everyone. You can’t change something unless you start learn a new way. I believe everyone has the capacity to do this. I would love to help with you on that journey. The rewards are undeniable and I would love to be there every step of the way with you.

I have worked in every area of mental health including, early childhood development, adolescence, couples, substance abuse, trauma, grief, and very serious mental health conditions including many types of psychotic disorders. I have been in the field for 16 years and loved every minute of it. In private practice i was mainly solution focused and CBT focused. I believe that’s what lead me to life coaching because i want to build other people up and help them see within themselves how much power they do have to achieve all their hopes and dreams and to motivate them every step of the way.
