About Mindi
Playing guitar should feel like an extension of your physical self. My 13 years of performance work with the Royal Philharmonic inform how I approach acoustic technique and rhythm guitar. I teach students to integrate strumming patterns with improvisation and soloing skills. Having taught 214 students, I know how to explain barre chords and chord transitions clearly.
Fingerpicking, songwriting, and ear training are staples of my approach. I want you to feel confident moving towards your next performance goal.

Guitar practice sounds structured. I provide custom backing tracks so students can practise soloing at home. My MMus Vocal Performance degree from King's College London and RAM provides a unique lens on harmonic structure and timing. We work on grade exam prep using a steady, methodical pace.
You will find that these backing tracks accelerate your internal rhythm. It is satisfying to hear a student finally lock into a groove. Mastering the fretboard takes patience and focus.
