About Kathleen
"Teens often walk into my studio looking for a way to make the guitar sound like a full band. Honestly, I find that beginners need the most patience as they navigate their first chords. My degree in folk music from Berea College taught me that the best lessons start with listening to the rhythm.
I have spent 13 years refining how to teach fingerstyle guitar and blues progressions. Improvisation and soloing become natural when you stop worrying about perfection. I help performance-focused students integrate electric technique into their playing style. Power chords provide the grit, while reading tabs gives you the map to start jamming on your own."
