About Victoria
Initial meetings focus on your current skill level and specific goals for the instrument. I assess your technique, from chord transitions to electric soloing, during the first encounter. We keep things grounded in practical application rather than abstract concepts.
Teens and intermediate learners appreciate how I simplify reading tabs and improvisation. I find that consistent maintenance and proper tuning habits yield the best results for your long-term progress. Technical proficiency in scales, modes, and ear training allows me to guide players through complex music theory. A crisp, clean note ringing out from a well-maintained acoustic guitar signals a successful practice session. These 13 years of work include guiding 255 students through grade exams and performance prep. My background combines music pedagogy with linguistic techniques.
I taught myself how to bridge the gap between theory and actual performance. It is a genuine pleasure to see students find their sound.
