About Yousr
I’m an interdisciplinary researcher and educator with a background in social sciences, international law, and political science. My academic work focuses on Middle Eastern history, sovereignty, and social movements, combining historical and qualitative research methods. I have served as a Teaching Assistant in Political Science, mentoring students in research design, theory, and academic writing. Professionally, I’ve worked with organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and TRT World Research Centre, focusing on research, policy analysis, and knowledge translation. My experience spans sociology, anthropology, and history, with a strong foundation in qualitative research, critical theory, and cultural analysis. I bring an applied understanding of how ideas move from classrooms to real-world contexts — whether in policy, humanitarian work, or academic research.

Hi there! I’m Yousr — a researcher and educator with a background in social sciences, anthropology, and history. I’ve worked as a teaching assistant in sociology and political science, helping students understand research methods, qualitative analysis, and how to turn big ideas into clear arguments.
If you’re looking for support in writing, critical thinking, or developing your research projects, I can help you get there.
What I Teach:
- Research Methods: qualitative, mixed methods, data interpretation, interviews, and analysis.
- Social Sciences & Humanities: sociology, anthropology, political science, history, and cultural studies.
- Writing & Academic Skills: essays, literature reviews, research
I like to keep sessions grounded — we connect theory to real-world examples, simplify complex ideas, and more like a genuine conversation.

Yousr is an amazing teacher. She explains Arabic in a very clear and engaging way, and her strong knowledge and patience make every lesson productive and motivating.
I had the pleasure of studying Research Methods (Qualitative) with Yousr for 3 months. She guided me through developing strong research questions, designing qualitative methodologies, and conducting thematic analysis. What I appreciated most about her teaching is her ability to simplify complex concepts and make them practical and easy to apply. She provides detailed, constructive feedback and genuinely cares about her students’ progress. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to build solid qualitative research skills.
